Luke Shannon-Little has been appointed to the Munnelly Group Board as Director of Compliance
We are delighted to announce the next growth stage in the Bishopsgate Group journey, which will see our current managing director, Luke Shannon-Little, appointed to the new role of Director of Compliance at our parent business, the Munnelly Group.
With over seven years’ experience at Bishopsgate, Luke’s passion has seen the business go from strength to strength.
It is this passion that will fully support the Munnelly Group’s ongoing focus on compliance and governance. Always central to the Munnelly Group’s operation, through Luke’s new position, compliance will now be embedded at board level to ensure that all eight of its businesses share the same high standards of supply chain governance.
Commenting on his new role, Luke said: “I am incredibly proud of the way Bishopsgate has allowed me, as managing director, to shape and pursue a strategic vision that we have successfully delivered over the last seven years. I have also been fortunate to work alongside some wonderful and committed colleagues who have helped Bishopsgate thrive and who believed in both me and the vision for the business.”
“The move to the Munnelly Group Board is an exciting opportunity and comes at a time when compliance is no longer just a ‘buzzword’ or a ‘nice to have’, but a fundamental requirement for success. I am looking forward to supporting the other Munnelly Group brands and helping drive forward the “One Group, One Mission, One Standard” vision.
“I am also excited to gain a deeper understanding of each Munnelly Group business while sharing my experience to help reduce operational risk and support continued growth. My appointment to this role will allow for greater collaboration across the Group, working closely with the managing directors to help achieve their goals while ensuring the Munnelly Group is well-positioned for a compliant and successful future.”
Paul David Munnelly, CEO of the Munnelly Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Luke to the Group Board as he focuses on leading our compliance function across all eight of our businesses, recognising the growing strategic importance of compliance across the industry.
“Compliance and governance have always been central to how the Group operates and to the trust our clients place in our subsidiaries. Luke’s appointment as Director of Compliance reflects our decision to embed that discipline at board level, building on Bishopsgate’s track record and extending the same standards of supply chain governance across all eight of our businesses. It is a deliberate step to build on what is already a competitive strength as expectations on compliance and governance continues to grow.”
